Introduction
Background
A set of legal and social institution which works for the society betterment and enforces law in the country is called the criminal justice system. Criminal justice system is very important for any country. Without proper criminal justice the law can't be enforced into any country. The criminal justice system follows its own set of rules and regulations for law enforcement. There are three basic elements of the criminal justice system which include the police, courts and corrections or called corrections. All three form the criminal justice system. The word system attached to it suggests that it is something rational and it is properly coordinated and regulated. However in reality, it is very difficult to manage the criminal justice system. It requires lot of patience and discipline to manage the department.
Problem statement
There are many reasons for the failure of the criminal justice system. The most important reason is the personnel shortage in the criminal justice system. If the criminal justice system fails to complete all the tasks during a year, it results in increased crime rate. This increase crime rate affects all the aspects of the economy. There are many reasons for personnel shortage in the criminal justice system. People believe that criminal justice system is full of corrupt people thus they don't even think of joining army. They just curse the system for its injustice.
Reasons for personnel shortage
There are many reasons for personnel shortage in the criminal justice system and few important reasons have been discussed below:
Inexperience workers
As most of the people think that criminal justice system is full of corruption so they don't join it any more. As a result the people who join criminal justice system are not experienced and they are not motivated to serve the world. These people only join the system to get paid on time. These people are not career oriented. They lack skills and motivation. Training can groom and polish their skill but they don't want any training. Hence the criminal justice system faces severe shortage.
