A pressing issue in contemporary higher education is the need to stimulate the development of a model of personality that is general and specific, feasible to train all students, without ignoring individual differences that always exist in each student, According to the social cultural contexts that produce the teaching-learning process and reflects the basic values which must underpin contemporary society. Indeed, the purpose of this paper is to make some reflections on theoretical and methodological in the field of psychology that contribute to the proposal for a model of personality that can be developed in university and feasible the teaching-educational universities, based on the fundamental values that should characterize an appropriate level. The analysis based primarily on a foundation of personality and psychological status and their education as the crucial problem of pedagogy (Fahim, Shadid, Gladstone, 2011).

The theoretical focus on personality
Before any assessment of the formation of personality, is a scientific requirement essential to adopt a theoretical position on it, from the many existing conceptions and the positions of the most productive psycho-thinking humanist orientation. For the sake, of synthesis, the main ideas outlined below:
The personality is the highest expression of the subjective world of the man who takes on a particular historical character.
The social determinants of personality will never be directly or immediately, because the influences occur by multiple pathways and through the individual characteristics of the subject itself, that is, through the prism of their subjectivity.
The formation process of the personality expressed in the subject's behavior by externalizing their inner qualities behavioral (subjective). It is pertinent to clarify that the conduct is an important element that reflects the level of personality development, but not absolute because it can simulate, so it is necessary not only limited to it as an indicator of development, bearing in mind that not is the personality that works but with an intentional subject.
Behind these external and concrete manifestations of personality formed systematically qualitative regularities, although there is not always unambiguous and direct relationship between them by the above.
Because of its importance in the life of man, the personality is erected, at a time, in a category and a principle whose essence is that every process is necessarily subjective element involved in complex regulatory synthesis, that is, that nothing within the personality is not working in isolation but a relationship and dependence on the rest of the other subjective phenomena.
How stable and systemic organization of content and psychological functions that characterize the integral expression of the subject, determines the self-regulatory behavior.
Within the auto regulatory function of personality there are different levels, of which the upper is one in which the individual participates in a conscious and active in determining their behavior, through their reflections and personal elaborations, giving it a personal meaning to their oriented actions and objectives that transcend the present situation (Fahim, Shadid, Gladstone, 2011).
Personality self-regulation
The concept of self is central to this theoretical conception of personality, which raises the need to be conceived as a self-regulating system, where all elements work in ...
