The interpretation and interaction with the world of a Christian culture or individual is based on a framework known as the biblical or Christian worldview. Although there are a variety of issues and perspectives surrounding worldview, yet as far as Christian worldview is concerned, it has certain commonalities in terms of some thematic elements. This paper will look to present a positive image of the Christian worldview, and will look to prove to the critics that the biblical or Christian worldview is superior to the rest of the worldviews, such as the scientific worldview. In addition, by analyzing current relevant literature, this paper will shed light on the works of Christian theologians and will try to answer the questions that a person might have about worldview, such as what should be believed to be true, and its basis as to why it is the truth, and its application in daily life. It will also discuss the reason of our existence, and the fact that Jesus should be followed in letter and spirit in order to lead a content and happy life. By analyzing the books of Phillips and Smith, this paper aims to answer the preceding questions.

The fact of the matter is that every individual has a worldview, although not in following their worldview, they are not fully aware about it, which is an irony. A worldview is parable to colored spectacles, in that it paints everything being viewed by the viewer. All fields and faculties of life are dependent on the worldview, and an individual's values, thoughts and decisions are shaped by it. It is important for Christians in particular to understand that Christianity has the solutions for all the problems of life and it is a multi-disciplinary faith. It is not just a religion, but it is a complete code of conduct to abide and live by. Christian worldview offers the solutions to all the problems of a person who believes in God and Jesus. The understanding that God is in control and will reward us for the deeds that will be done in this life is reason enough for a believer to put his faith in God; all our lives, we should try and live through the teachings of Jesus and try to follow him in letter and spirit.
It is pertinent to note that there is a definite purpose to our very existence and that God has called us first and foremost to Him; to Him we belong, and to Him we shall return. Everything that we do, on a daily basis, we should see to it that we follow was has been ordained through the Religious Scripture, so that we may lead a life of contentment and happiness. It is also important to understand that God has set a particular reason for our being, in that He knows and wants us to know that we should stick to our mission in life, which should be a noble one, so that we lead pious ...
