Personal Statement

I have always been obsessed with computers. My interest in computers grew as time passed and I used to play computer games which further developed my interest in computers. I took the decision to study computers at A-levels because computers became my passion. I wanted to know how it works, how it performs so many tasks at the same time with such precision and accuracy. Studying computers in Uganda I was the best student in the class. I never felt any difficulty in remembering any information about computers; it's because of my passion for learning more and more about computers.

Soon it came to my mind that I should plan my future course of action for my studies. I developed a plan that as soon as I finish my studies I would work in an organization where I can get maximum learning and exposure in the field of computers. My inspiration was my father who studied computers and was earning good money in Uganda. I always wanted to be like my father. My father encouraged me a lot to study computers and also guided me how to design my career path; he helped me a lot in many ways.

I did Business and ICT level 2 and ICT level 3 at Waltham Forest College. I got admission at Queen Mary University on Science and engineering with foundation. Life was going as planned but unfortunately I got sick in the end of the year. Due to this, I missed some of the exams but I passed Math and science & technology modules with great grades.
