Introduction

The graduation acts as a turning point in a career as the remaining life of a professional is directed by the career choice an individual pursue to have. The career option selected is based primarily on an individual's interest and choice, though, there are a number of career opportunities which can be chosen. The broad range of career opportunities varies from marketing, supply chain, engineering, science to fashion designing and BPOs. This paper aims at discussing the employment opportunities, which present me with a chance for demonstrating my acquired knowledge and skills, and the plan that I intend to use for my personal and career development.

Potential Career Opportunities

Considering the various disciplines that have developed over the course of last 20 years, one can choose to pursue a career in any of the following professional fields.

Sales and Marketing

With the increasing rate consumers in businesses around the world, sales and marketing has become a very lucrative field in business. Sales and marketing executives can work for diversified companies like fast moving consumer goods, manufacturing, or other services. Telemarketing is another option with the development of e-commerce. An individual can earn attractive salary with allowance and commission.

Management

Now a day, MBA has become an essential degree which offers careers in areas of finance, management, marketing, supply chain and other fields. Students need to clear entrance test such as CAT which takes place in the affiliated university.

CS/ CA/ CFA

Other options available after graduation include courses such as CS, CS and CFA. Once the courses are completed, individuals can apply for jobs in private or public banks, Multinational companies, corporate houses, and other industries. There is a tremendous need for such professionals in the market due to the highly competitive nature of the market and economy, therefore, the salary package is very lucrative. Computer Courses

The revolution in the IT industry has provided diverse career opportunities. An individual who is seeking a career in this area can choose between computer operator, software developer, web designer, animator and much more. There are specific courses related to this field, which are offered through various institutes and universities. Depending upon personal choice, one can also work as an independent service provider.
