The study investigates Parkinson's disease as one of the most common movement disorders, which may affect nearly one million people in the United States. Parkinson's disease can be subdivided in many groups i.e. neuronal degeneration and the formation of Lewy bodies in the substantia nigra region of the brain with predominant symptoms that include resting tremor, bradykinesia, postural imbalance, and rigidity. The study informs that Parkinson's disease may include primary Parkinsonism with unidentified etiology and minor Parkinsonism caused due to usage of neuroleptic drugs and exposure to neurotoxins.
