ABSTRACT
This research focuses on the elaboration and in-depth understanding of the organized crimes and terrorism. The paper is aimed at examining the relationship between organized crime and terrorism. The main goal of this research is to provide a sound empirical research on the most heinous crime 'terrorism' and how it relates to or is caused by organized criminal activities like human trafficking and drug smuggling. The research follows a secondary research design. It has been found that there is a direct relationship of organized crimes and terrorism. The phenomenon has been changing criminal to the extent that the world has evolved. Similarly, criminology as a field of knowledge has shown the different aspects of its evolution in the explanation and understanding of the crime.

CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION
This chapter provides a brief introduction of the whole research paper including the major areas of focus. The chapter will also contain the problem to be addressed in the research. Under this chapter, the research questions and objectives will be developed; they are a key part of the research since they will provide a guideline for the whole research. The chapter will also provide the relevance and significance of the research.
Background
Since the attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 international attention has focused on the issue of "terrorism". International reaction has primarily focused on protection and national interests, with actions by the United States (US) and their "coalition of the willing" taking a much more proactive step attacking both Afghanistan and Iraq. The United Nations (UN) has taken measures to create international "policy" in the form of two UN Security Council resolutions - UNSCR 1368 and UNSCR 1373 - written to address the issues of terrorist funding and terrorist actions and to obligate all member states of the UN to take specific actions to combat terrorism.
