Introduction

The increasing pace of change in the economic, political and social environment confronting organizations with a strong pressure to innovate. These, it is the part of the strategic organization design to pick up and respond with equally innovative concepts. The aim is the continuous generation of new market potential and the long-term improvement of competitiveness. In learning organizations, a special lever of innovation success is seen, which is why organizations are innovative, not least, learning organizations. This research finds out the effect, impact and implications of a recent innovation at my workplace.

Overview of the Innovation

I work for a company that deals in farming genetics and manufacturing of chemical fertilisers and other farming products. As a recognized industry of the United States, the company realizes its concerns to respond towards the alarming situation of global warming that can play havoc with Mother Earth. As part of its corporate strategy and the change in organizational processes, the company aims to bring new innovations in its functioning in terms of adopting the “green revolution” as part of a new innovation at the workplace.

Explanation for Commitments to the Innovation

Green revolution relied heavily on the creation of hybrid diversity that made significantly advanced yields per plant. Hybrids were evolved that were better adept to soak up fertilizers and nutrients, better acclimatized to localized weather conditions, better adept to oppose pests, and were simpler to grow, collection, and transport.

Green technologies contribute to improving the quality of the environment by reducing toxic releases to the air in the water or the ground . Recovery technologies are being developed in order to remove contaminants from the environment and restore the quality of ecosystems. These technologies include bioremediation (using microbes to clean up sites), phytoremediation (using plants to decontaminate sites), and natural attenuation (allowing the environment clean itself over time) (Stern, Hicks, 2000).

Keeping the above mentioned factors in mind, my organization develops a profound commitment and dedication towards the technology as its innovation management strategy in the long-term.
