The technique in which the qualitative and quantitative techniques are used collectively for data collection purpose is called mixed research. Mixed research method is the third most important kind of research. The results of the mixed methodology are more reliable because it is more descriptive in nature. The supporters of this methodology usually stick to the philosophy of pragmatism and the compatibility thesis. We would position mixed research between the extremes Plato (quantitative research), and the Sophists (qualitative research), with mixed research attempting to respectfully the wisdom of both of these viewpoints while also seeking a workable middle solution for many (research) problems of interest (Johnson & Anthony, 2007). Today, the primary philosophy of mixed research is that of pragmatism. Mixed methods research is, generally speaking, an approach to knowledge (theory and practice) that attempts to consider multiple viewpoints, perspectives, positions, and standpoints (always including the standpoints of qualitative and quantitative research( Johnson & Anthony, 2007).
The concept of compatibility thesis is that the quantitative and the qualitative methods both are related and compatible to each other and their combination can be used to analyze the data in one research. On the other hand the pragmatism philosophy suggest that the techniques used for the data analysis should be such that provide the proper and practical result and the approaches must be applicable in the real world as well.
Research design
The aim is to explore participants' views of Organizational Culture in Business.
The strategies used in mixed method approaches include explanatory, exploratory, transformative, or concurrent strategies. The proposed study will employ an exploratory mixed method. This perspective reflects the purpose of the study and the research questions, which are the driving forces behind all methodological choices. The mixed method exploratory approach is most appropriate to address the research questions and achieve the proposed study goals.
Statistical Analysis
The research methodology of this paper incorporates the data accumulated from the online sources. In order to execute and analyze the data regression analysis was applied. In addition, one sample t-test was also used to conduct the analysis. In the first segment of the research the organizations will be compared throughout the United States for the internal culture. The comparison of organizations in different sectors will be analyzed by using on-sample t-test. Moreover, the second segment of the research comprised distinct variables that could have influence on the study variable. In this section the performance of organization will be analyzed against the organizational culture, in different industry sectors of the United Sates. In the next section of the research regression analysis will be executed.
Financial Statement Analysis
The financial statements of different organizations will be studied to evaluate their business operations and other activities. The analysis of financial statements is the critical process aimed at assessing the financial position, past and present, and results of operations of a company, with the primary objective of establishing the best possible estimates and predictions about the condition and future ...
