Introduction
The operations of hard rock cafe allow the general public to experience events in comfort, and offer people to eat food, have a great time with friends and family. Cafes and restaurants have existed since ancient times, but developments that have occurred over the past century have made operation of these facilities increasingly complex and specialized. Operations at Hard Rock Cafe often are coordinated with facility and event management, because most events require a venue at which to occur. Different personnel have different responsibilities for various aspects of café operations, with different individuals often taking charge of waiters, chef, maintenance, security, marketing, and finance.
This paper will be covering the operations management field and focusing on the operational management techniques for the new, innovative approach taken by the hard rock café. Paper highlights the improved operational management techniques for better management of new innovative menu implementation. The paper will discuss how hard rock café can maintain the quality and enhance the new, improved menu. I would place three major, distinctive techniques that will help and keep the quality of new improved menu. The three techniques are as followed.
1)Create a knowledge management system that will keep the employees at hard rock cafe up to date that how to run the quality operations even after the implementation of new, exclusive menu.
2) Second technique appropriate for hard rock café is to develop a strategic human resource policy system in which exclusive changes should be made in the compensatory benefits and perks of the employees. This is appropriate to provide the exclusive treatment to their clients, but this could only be achieved if the employees are treated exclusively.
3) The third focus should be on the inventory control, as exclusive operations for the innovative menu requirement are of exclusive inventory control system in order to provide an effective, high quality service to its exclusive clients.
Discussion
Recent innovations, in restaurants and clubs, have increased the skills required to operate hard rock café. While café operations have historically focused on every-day concerns, today, these venues provide new opportunities and challenges, which leads to putting new, exclusive menu items and other details. Therefore, in this sense we came from a strategic perspective which focuses on the relationship between organizational dimensions and informational tools in an attempt to explain and evaluate the value of that relationship in achieving effective knowledge management in general and knowledge of operation management tools in particular.
