Organizational development is dependent on its strategies because effectiveness of strategies is needed for improvement in organizations. One of these strategies is organizational diagnosis (OD) that involves diagnosing, or assessing an organization's current level of functioning for designing appropriate change interventions (Joyce et al. 1984).
Organizational Intelligence Model
The model developed by Falletta in 2004 is comparatively a newer model that is named as Organizational Intelligence Model. Falletta has included various elements that are similar to the B-L model. Also, it includes some additional key factors, which drive employee engagement and performance (Falletta 2008).
This model consists of eleven factors that are shown and discussed below:

Environmental Inputs
It relates to the outside world of the company that may affect the operations or performances of the company such as policies of government, customer satisfaction, economy and various such factors that have some direct or indirect impact on the company. It is important for a company to understand such factors in order to minimize the likelihood of failures or risks in the environment (Organizational Diagnostic Models 2008).
Strategy
Strategy is a tool or a method through which a company intends to achieve its objectives, mission, and aims. Similarly, a strategy is an integral part for any company to achieve the overall purpose of the existence of the organization (Kolb et al. 1970).
Leadership
Leaders are considered to be the core of any business because they guide other staff of the organization to achieve the best performance for a company. Therefore, they must have leadership skills in order to direct the entire organization.
Culture
Culture is considered to be another important factor in an organization as it may result in various conflicts between people of different backgrounds and origins. Therefore, an organization's management must be able to manage cultural conflicts within an organization (Organizational Diagnostic Models 2008).
Structure & Adaptability
It related to the overall design of the company that includes levels, roles, and rights of decision-making, responsibilities and accountability. These factors are designed for the execution of the strategy.
Information & Technology
The business systems, practices, and capabilities that facilitate and reinforce people's work (e.g., IT infrastructure, communication, knowledge sharing) (Organizational Diagnostic Models 2008).
Direct Manager
It is the effectiveness or the quality of an employee's immediate manager or supervisor in the company.
