Leininger (1991) notes the main goal of transcultural nursing is to provide culturally specific care. But before transcultural nursing can be sufficiently understood, there must be a fundamental knowledge of key expressions such as society, cultural values, culturally assorted nursing care, ethnocentrism, “race " as well as ethnography (Morgan, 2002).

Culture expresses norms in addition to practices of a meticulous group that are learned and joint and direct thinking, decisions, and actions.

Cultural values the individual's attractive or favored way of acting or knowing a little that is continued over a phase of time and which administers actions or decisions (Benjamin, 2005).

Culturally diverse nursing care's most advantageous mode of health care delivery passes on to the variability of nursing approaches desired to offer culturally suitable care that incorporates individual's cultural values, beliefs, and practices counting sensitivity to the surroundings from which the entity comes and to which the individual might eventually return. (Leininger, 2007)

Ethnocentrism the perception that one's own way is best when viewing the world (Geiger & Davidhizar, 1991). Our viewpoint is the regular by which all other perspectives are calculated and held to inspection.

Ethnic relates to group identification, large groups of individual classified according to common traits or customs.

Race any of the different varieties of humans assumed by some individual to exist, based on the discredited typological model of human variation.

Ethnography is the research of a culture. The methodological loom of ethnographic study central to the nurse's aptitude to build up a heightened consciousness of culturally diverse requirements of individuals, is to describe a field for observation for study of the environment and its being, as well as the reciprocal connection that exists between the two (Benjamin, 2005).

The Nursing Profession is still under a development phase, a phase of retreat and developing new models. The last century and the appearance of the new millennium set up a new period of nursing information. Consequently, the 21st century commenced with colossal transformation for the nursing profession with a shortage of practicing nurses, an increasing demand for nurses, less nursing faculty, and a swiftly varying global healthcare field (Chambers, 2003). For nurses to answer to the requirements of the fast changing global healthcare field, individuals must be socialized into the nursing occupation. The job of nursing identifies socialization into a discipline that is steered by theories, use of language, identification of concepts, and definition of relationships, structured ideas, and facilitation of disciplined inquiry, practice and communication, as well as forecast of the outcome of nursing practice (Geiger & Davidhizar, 1991).
