Introduction

The phenomenon of Nursing informatics deals with the adoption of technology by nurses. In the late 60's was installed the first computer system in hospitals in developed countries. These systems were funded primarily to process orders, charge sheets and billing accounts. Gradually it developed technology going from the basement of the hospital to the nursing units. So computers, PDAs, cell IPad and today, but slowly began to replace paper securely over the last 50 years. During this period the nurses / I have contributed to the acquisition, design and implementation of these technologies.
