The research paper is about a unique behavior in which is found commonly in humans i.e. learning disability. Learning disability is a categorization which includes several areas of functioning, in learning disability a person experiences difficulty in learning typical behavior. The term learning disability has existed since the 1960's. Since then, there have been some attempts to define the term. Children who are suffering from autism spectrum disorders are also diagnosed with epilepsy and are termed as seizure disorder. A seizure is a disturbance which creates an imbalance in the functioning of brain. According to the statistics, twenty-five million Americans (1 in 10) have had, or will have, at least one seizure at some time in their lives. Among children and adolescents with autism, from 20-40% experience some form of epilepsy between early childhood and adulthood, which can be very alarming to parents (Gabis & Pomeroy, 2005, pp. 111- 119).
Thesis Proposal
An analysis of the learning disability in nursing
The power arrears amount to more than 2-3 years of schooling.
The power residues affect several subjects.
They are continuing over several years.
They are not due to inadequate learning offer or poor teaching.
All previous attempts to define common that the term "learning disability" is seen only in the context of schools, so that only a small portion of the human learning is reflected therein Schroeder (1996) suggests that the terminology of. Learning disabilities education is limited to four terms:
Learning difficulties occur when academic performance (in any school) below tolerable deviations from reference standards
Learning disabilities "are their special forms, when it comes to learning needs of elementary and secondary school.
Learning disabilities as the "lesser" form of learning disability, based on the three dimensions of the severity, extent and duration.
Learning disability (and again only in the sense of "school for the learning disabled") learning difficulties as serious, extensive and lasting.
Reasons of Learning Disabilities
The learning disabilities reason assumption
(1) Neurology
Mild brain injury and brain dysfunction, brain growth retardation, cerebral cortex function immaturity, lack of awakening, the left and right brain development imbalance.
Genetic factors
(2) Psychological environment assumptions
(3) The development of non-intelligence factors defects
Much discussed and not yet fully resolved is the question of referral of children with school problems to professionals specializing in learning disabilities, the educational psychologists. Whether for having different professionals with multiple skills, either by the difficulty in evaluating the school who refer each case, what we see is that there is some doubt in these conveyances, which in no way benefits the child and his family (Freeman & Vinning, 2002, pp. 221-226).
Despite all the controversy when it refers to the learning difficulties of our children, the practice points us to two undeniable facts: these problems are due to different factors alone or associated with each other, and only the assessment and early intervention of the difficulties, can lead to success in school learning. The role of the school in many other ways in the lives of children, beyond the scope of personal and is reflected in the growth of society as a whole.
School, family and society are responsible not only for the transmission of knowledge, values, and ...
