Introduction to Nursing

Nursing encompass an extensive range of fields, as well as health care problems, which are continuously changing and on the front of guiding this profession path. Problems for instance health care modification, nursing deficiencies, low incomes for mentors and moral principles are a number of the subjects being tackled. Since professional nursing is an essential measure of hospitals, nurture homes, home fitness agencies, as well as institutions. The field ought to retain current changes with the policies and ought to be prepared to report the issues that arise (Cormack, 2000, pp: 25).

Role of Adult Nursing

In a number of countries today, leisure quality is one of the life situations most valued by people. This has been caused by the government's legislation to implement two-day holidays at the weekend, and the trend towards shorter working hours. People have more leisure hours and consequently leisure life has become more important. In the past, in studies of health allied eminence of life the specific focus has been in the fields of the elderly and nursing. There has been little research in the field of leisure studies. Thus, the main purpose in this study was to investigate leisure lifestyles (LLS) and to explore the relationship between LLS and health-related quality of life (HRQoL) among adults. In addition, the 2007 Citizen Life Subject Index indicates that the quality of people includes health status, physical function, healthcare residence, and the quality of the National Health Insurance System. That there are both an aging society that is a pressing problem in every corner of the globe, and a financially unsustainable National Health Insurance System adds to the relevance of this study (Goodman, 2008, pp: 38).

Scholars have pointed out that unhealthy lifestyles result in an increase in chronic diseases and a high death rate. Rotevatn, Akslen, and Bjelke (1989) found diet people who have an unhealthy lifestyle due to habits such as cigarette smoking, drinking alcohol, and eating inappropriate food, or because they take little exercise, have a higher death rate at an earlier age than those who do not have these habits. If individuals improve their lifestyle, they may improve their quality of life and they are less likely to suffer from disease or die at an early age. Therefore, having a healthy lifestyle is important. However, lifestyle is a concept with diverse dimensions and the study of lifestyles can generate a rich research literature for recognizable behaviors. Headey, Kelley, and Wearing (1993) identified life satisfaction, positive affect, anxiety, and depression as four dimensions that affect mental health (Jamieson, 2002, pp: 12).

Adult Nursing and Health Promotion

The management and teaching with regard to the field of nursing is quite a complex task since technologies and advancements have led to major transformations in the fields of adult nursing. Care management is characterized by the three general features of encouraging routine visits to health care providers, improving the adherence of physicians (and fellow health care providers) to established guidelines for the provision of care, and advancing the ability of individual patients to navigate the current health care system. Nurses are crucial to the successful implementation of care management for older adults living with one symptoms of disease or the other, particularly because nurses and nursing care support the concept of addressing physical, psychological, and social needs of individuals ...
