Nordstrom initially started as a shoe company, now is a large scale departmental retail store, carrying a variety of things, specialty goods, shopping items, including cosmetics, handbags, electronics etc. Nordstrom has made its name stand apart because of the superior and exclusive customer services they have been providing to their customers for more than a century now. For Nordstrom, customer is their first priority, and they will go out their way to satisfy them. One very famous example of Nordstrom services is that, of a woman who wanted only one shoe. Nordstrom aim is to make life time relationship with their customers, and this all started with when this lady was sold just one shoe.
