Introduction

Noel Pearson (born 25 June 1965 in Cooktown) is an Australian lawyer, Aboriginal activist and founder of the Cape York Institute for Policy and Leadership, an organization promoting economic and social development of Cape York Aborigines. Although Pearson has worked closely with the Prime Ministers Paul Keating and John Howard, he often criticizes the Australian political establishment; especially the political left. He discusses has often encouraged dependence on aid government financial. Many aborigines have turned to financial aid from the government. Pearson was later estimated that aid has been sit-down-money (money for sitting) who contributed to the development of a false economy and destructive native of Australia.
