Turkish Natural Gas Market
Turkey has experienced a rapid economic development accompanied naturally a dramatic increase in energy demand. The country depends largely on the outside resources insignificant hydrocarbons. In order to secure its supplies, it intends to diversify its imports, including turning to juvenile Central Asian republics, culturally close and potentially very rich hydrocarbons. It resonates, those countries who wish to reduce their dependence vis-à-vis Russia, the only current path for discharging their production in the main market near the Caspian Sea and its surroundings (Atiyas 2005, 187). Turkey has a real economic asset to support its ambition regional policy. It also benefits from political circumstances and instability in the Caucasus. The U.S. position toward Iran embargo Iraq has now to assert its place as a transit country and re-export, knowing that these circumstances can change.
However, despite the declared support of the United States, Turkey ambitions face the inevitable Russian influence and that of Iran. For Turkey, there are stakes but the portion size is difficult. It must find more cost energy sources to continue the way close to the developed nations while agreeing to pay the price implied by the desire to be a regional power. Turkey is a promising market, where consumption of primary energy and electricity is expected to grow significantly over the next twenty years. Energy required for the development of countries. Fastest growing energy consumers in many countries are obvious. Therefore, the commercial energy sources, as well as being classified as strategic materials. Energy-related issues and energy security have gained great importance in the last century, and always has maintained the status of the limelight. The study of the existing energy resources to meet growing energy demand and the importance of secure energy supply and the country always attracts people.
Countries for the energy are no longer "self-sufficiency" is beyond definition. This trade is a trade between countries is essential and needs to be done safely.
