The interconnection of Geology & History
The geological history of the blue planet is a source to know and trace certain events in time and therefore, find out the changes Earth was experiencing through different time periods. The word Geology means the study of the Blue plant, and therefore, it entails all the significant changes that are seem to be happened to lead to the present day Earth solids. The current state of earth solids trace history of billions of years, and signify what changes the Earth has been through (Littleton, n.d.). Therefore, the change made in geology of the planet leads to study the change that the Earth actually has been through. The history of geology of the earth is known as 'the geological history' of the earth. It is defined as, “the assessment of the current rock solids of the earth, as well as, the rocks and minerals of the Earth, and their evolution over time. It also includes the study of reason of evolution of rocks and minerals”.
