The man on the moon was a milestone in history. Since then, it has created a network of satellites, space stations and technologies that serve the society. A space race started around fifty years ago that marked the competition between the U.S. and the USSR during the Cold War to demonstrate its technological, economic and scientific power. In the U.S., Apollo 11 achieved the first man stepped on the moon. After forty years, astronauts have a mission to travel to Mars and keep working in space on an ongoing basis. To achieve this, astronauts need a tough physical and psychological preparation that takes years and requires testing along with the knowledge to withstand the extreme conditions that the environment needs to experience. Space travel is dangers from the moment crew are mounted on the ship, as demonstrated by the great tragedies of the history of NASA. The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) said the level of risks that astronauts may experience is quite high. Therefore, all the issues related to NASA Research will be discussed in detail.
Discussion
When astronauts embark on a space flight, especially for a long period, the traveling on International Space Station is not easy, although it is in high demand by scientists. They require a special paste for the body to support such an impact. In the car in which a person travels, they cannot open the windows. Sometimes there are bad smells from the degassing of some objects with changes in temperature and pressure. It can be very cold or very hot, and the noise is very high and constant, caused by the whirring fans, air conditioners, filters and ringing phones. There is a new sunrise every 90 minutes, which is wonderful, but 16 of them per day are able to get crazy after any biorhythm. This is the reason why this trip is undoubtedly great, but also full of problems. Nausea is a constant problem, especially when getting into orbit and the simple act of going to the bathroom at home becomes an odyssey in the ship. The process operates as a coupling between two orbiting spacecraft, within which there must be a perfect fit. The bathroom is very good, astronaut Michael Foale wrote referring to the defunct Russian Mir space station - but it takes me between 15 and 20 minutes from start to finish. It is a long time. There is no up or down inside the ship. The astronauts need to be very careful not to hit vital parts of the machine or against their own scientific experiments. For all this, they must be ready for space travel. They undergo months of training and several days of work practice in order to prevent disease as key objective before jumping into the void, and a journey that for many people has been no return. This factor certainly weighs on their minds of the astronauts (Chaikin, 1994, 112).
