Introduction

Whales are in a alignment Cetacea which encompasses all dolphins, porpoises, and whales. They pertains to a suborder Odontoceti which encompasses a toothed whales, dophins and porpoises. They pertains to a family Delphinidae or a dolphins, and Whales are a biggest of a group. A genus is Orcinus and species is orca. Whales had a status for being furious murdering appliances which is why a Spanish called them "ballena asesina" or a assassin whale. They were often glimpsed striking other whales, sharks, and dolphins. However in Latin, a title orca entails "a form of a barrel or cask" which is due to their shape.(Brown,3611)

Cetaceans roamed a oceans long before noted history likely up to 5-7 million years ago. Whales are mammals because they command their own body warmth, and it remains constant unaligned of its environment. They also have small hairs to assist in sensory, they have mammary glands in which they use to feed their young. They also respire through lungs using their blowhole to inhale and exhale. Habitat, Social Structure And Activity Cycle

(George,571) Resident pods usually consist of 5 up to 50 members while transient pods either travel alone or in groups of 2-7 individuals. Resident pods often travel within specific ranges or direct routes usually from headland to headland along a coast and never more than 500 miles off a coastline. Transient groups ranges are unpredictable and they may spend twice as much time traveling in a circuit that often follows a contours of a shoreline within a 900 mile range.
