In life there is always a person, or a role model that one looks up to and admire. No matter who you are, there is habitually someone that one attempt to emulate in some way all through one's life. There is no limit to the amount of role models an individual can have. However, there is only one individual whose ideas one look at and acquiesce with entire heated manner, or one may take portions from a huge number of others in alignment to conceive one's own exclusive persona, and ideas. For me, a prominent mentor is my viola teacher, Mr. Donald McInnes.
A teacher's character would have a great influence on students. Students' performance and achievement are greatly dependent on the teacher's insight into students' personalities. Fortunately, I find Mr. McInnes as a source of my inspiration. Mr. McInnes is not only my favorite music teacher but also the admirable personality of my music life. He is a music professor at University of Southern California. I've been studying with him for 3 years. His knowledge in the area of music domain is commendable. I play the viola, and it's Donald McInnes, my teacher, who strongly affected my decision to pursue my career in the arts.
