My Family

Introduction

The word "family" comes from Latin word "familia". If we are talking about the chapter of human life, family is a group of people attached by blood relations, inter relations, or connection between humans due to residing at a place. Many societies claims family as the academy for basic education and training of the child related to its needs, surroundings and environment in which the child is living. Many Authors and different personalities define the word family very beautifully by realizing and understanding the importance of family in every stage of human life such as,

According to Susan Lieberman (1991), family protects one person from confusion. It defines us who we are and tells many things about our personality to us. It also defines way how we will be reliable and effective in this world of confusions (Lieberman S., 1991, p.25-28.).

According to Angelina Jolie (2001), family is the thing which provides you base for growth and development (Julie A., 2001, CNN).

Discussion

Family helps a person in developing its character or personality in each and every stage of life. When we are a child, family helps us in understanding the techniques to communicate with the outer world by providing guidance related to language and also fulfills our food needs before we request this need. When we grow up, family helps us in receiving education from the school and college level and try to fulfill our financial and social needs. At that age when we have to select a future field of study, family again helps us in making this crucial decision by considering our interest.

Family members are always loyal to you as compared to the other person who is not belonging to your family. This same thing is also elaborate by Mr. Mario in the sense that the strength of a family is very similar to the strength of an army in the way that inside family everybody is loyal to each other just like an army which is basically its power for achieving success (Puzo M., 2002, p.9).
