The Egyptian music is known as the major part of Egyptian culture from ancient times. The ancient Egyptians created their music from one of their Gods “Hathor” which was widely used as part of his attempt to make a civilized world. The history of Egyptian musical instruments reveals that flutes and double clarinets were mostly played during the time of Predynastic period (Marcus, 2007). Other instruments particularly lyres and lures are lately added in the orchestra across the Middle Kingdom. These instruments are widely used for social gatherings accompanied by music and dance.
