Motivation

Introduction

Motivation is the only factor which different firms, have to use so that the employees are motivated, and work without any pressure. This helps in making the employees work to their best level. Organizations know the importance of success of human resources, which can only be obtained if the employee satisfied with his job. Very few organizations succeed in motivating the employees. One of the main ambitions of operating a business is to earn a profit and to earn a profit the most decisive factor is of performance of employees. In order to conduct the business successfully, it is imperative that all the employees of the organization perform at their best.

There are certain factors that can escalate performance of employees. One of these factors is motivation (Gorman, 2007). Factor of motivation is indispensable for the performance of employees. This research paper revolves around the same phenomenon of motivation. The core purpose of this research is to explore factors that motivate employees in an organization. There are two basic types of motivation, namely Intrinsic and Extrinsic. Intrinsic motivation refers to the motivation that comes from with an individual. His inner motivation is the driving force behind his work, and it is due to that intrinsic motivation that an individual do his tasks. Extrinsic motivation is that motivation that comes from monetary rewards, recognition programs and other external sources. This motivation is very important at workplace. Organizations should make sure that they provide extrinsic motivation so that employees perform at their highest level.
