engages in ongoing appraisal of the impact of their practice on students' training and to generate further curriculum and instruction decisions; (Coghlan 2004)

contributes to the familiarity foundation through research writing, grant-writing, and representative presentations to bolster the field of education on multiple levels; 

weaves between research and practice, and theory and experience, repeatedly toiling within training communities to foster a democratic society.
