Modes of Development



Introduction

Paragraph is a set of sentences or prepositions, connected to each other, develop a global idea. The paragraph is chiefly characterized by being a thematic unity, to have consistency, and clearly present comprehensive. Diana Hacker, a handbook writer, have described and illustrated nine modes of the development of paragraphs in writing a composition; in this essay, two of those modes are discussed.
