Introduction

Elwyn Brooks White is the author of the story Charlotte's Web in which the author illustrates and manages to draw an expulsion and creative thought, about the examination of the author, his writing style, and about his relationship with nature. In the story, the theme basically revolves around friendship and portrays it as the foundation of the novel. Besides the element of friendship, another is the element of love. Whereas, “The James and the Giant Peach” is written by Roald Dahl, which is an entertaining story for the children which encompasses the lessons of life and morals, which can be even appreciated by adults. The themes used in this story are desertion, mistreatment, and redemptive recompense with justice meted out suitably to all troubled.

Thesis statement

To compare and contrast two poems, and finds the similarities in the themes, characters, and explains the benefit on children of reading the book.

Discussion

The story “Charlotte's Web,” seems to have a magical world, where one of the characters demonstrating a young girl names Fern, who use to spare her time with the pig named Wilbur, where as Charlottes who is a grey spider, who is Wilbur's friend and who help him come through and deal with the shocking feed he heard about Wilbur that soon his life will be over and he would be served as bacon on someone's plate. This was the point when the Wilbur need a help from a friend, and charlotte gave a very nice piece of gesture to fulfill the need of Wilbur for a friend, and bestows everything to save Wilbur's life, these are some of the notions exclaims by charlotte, "You have been my friend…That in itself is a tremendous thing. I wove my webs for you because I liked you. After all, what's a life, anyway? We're born, we live a little while, and we die. A spider's life can't help being something of a mess, with all the trapping and catching flies. By helping you, perhaps I was trying to lift up my life a trifle. Heaven knows anyone's life can stand a little of that (White, pp.184)."

Charlotte show and portrays the main theme by helping his friends Wilbur to escape his death, by making a plan with the assistance of Templeton, who characterized as a rat. Charlotte the spider was of very wise, and posses a very sharp personality, and shows her affection and friendship from the heart towards Wilbur (White, pp.184). She used to tell Wilbur some bedtimes stories, sing lullabies, and teach manners as little as the ways to chew the food in a correct manner . She used to help him in his bad times, and motivates him whenever he is down, as a result of which Wilbur regains his confidence back. She use to be in a tension by recalling the promise, and thinking about the actions she would take in order to save her friend Wilbur to escape from the death, and fulfill the promise she made with Wilbur, ...
