The aim of this paper, is to serve as an introduction to the theme of mental disorder. The paper focuses on the conceptual basis of mental disorder, and reflects the meaning of mental disorder in the school environment. (Porter, 2002) Determinants of mental disorders in young people of a particular social inequality, are discussed.
