Medical Cannabis and Its Legalization

Introduction

In today's world of medical marijuana is becoming more popular. The plant used in medicine in early thousands of years ago to favor. Some countries allow their patient for cultivation of cannabis for their own needs; they may do so among other patients in many U.S. states, as well as residents of Israel. Patients from other countries can buy drugs developed based on marijuana, including all or only selected components thereof. Research conducted by the World Health Organization confirms this thesis, in terms of health considering the consumption of cannabis as less harmful than the consumption of licit drugs: tobacco and alcohol. Substances contained in marijuana do not cause physiological dependence.

The debate on the issue of ethics and the legalization of marijuana consumption are gaining importance in the U.S. and many European countries, including Poland. This is due to the active role of movements and political parties and their interest lies in increasing the legal status and public perception of the popular "grass".

Discussion:

In recent year, the issue of legalization and medical use of cannabis has become one of the main themes of debate among medical scientists. In this case, the opposition of doctors who advocate the use of cannabis even for medical purposes and doctors often assumes the character of the fighting.

The advocates of hemp are also extremely careful in their research findings. Despite the fact that the movement for legalization of cannabis is not only not waning, but also gaining momentum, the scientists did not rush to openly advocate that the entire world has turned into one in Amsterdam. Mostly Apologetics human consumption limited to medical use of that substance in its pure form, but not to smoking cannabis preparations, not to mention their ingestion in the form of "molochella" and other well-known surrogates.
