Mediation is process where a dispute between two or more parties is settled with outside help, usually in the form of a mediator. Mediation is one of several processes that are commonly grouped under the name alternative dispute resolution or ADR for short. Mediation involves the use of a facilitator trained in conflict resolution. Mediation involves a meeting at any time during the lawsuit between the parties, their legal representatives and a neutral, third party.
