Clearly, this notion of critical media literacy moves the discourse of literacy education to take up a "critical stance" by examining a whole array of texts that form the meaning-making processes of the looming information age including TV, magazines, music, billboards, movies, cartoons, the internet, and to show the interconnectedness within such projects.
