General information about the agency

Michigan Department of Human Services is an agency which works for children, adults and even families. It provides services to the children, and adults. It operates its programs and network in over 100 counties. It has its offices all around the State. It is responsible for promoting development and quality of services sector to the people (Michigan. Dept. of Human Services, 2006). The Board of Directors of the Agency represents all the actors involved in the structuring of this economic sector. These include producer's services, government, local authorities, professional organizations, social partners, national social security funds, issuers of pre funded, and CESU qualified individuals.

The tasks of the department of Human Services are to promote quality of the human services. It ensures the statistical observatory of changes in activities and employment which stimulates its growth and professionalization. Five new activities that the Department of Human Services has added to its action plan, has aimed to extend the tax benefits to improved services to a person. The list is limited to 21 activities, 2 homologue, and 5 new activities to support and encourage the development of employment in the sector. New activities include support for careers, the informal care provided by a caregiver or conditional disabilities should be encouraged to the extent that it is socially useful and additional support by a professional. Caregivers most often suffer isolation and lack of support. Provision of advice, support, and support for family caregivers will be included in the list of service activities for the individual.

The Michigan Department of Human Services has its administration on the basis of federal temporary assistance for needy families. It provides food and support to all these needy families. It has programs which entirely depend on the food assistance of these people. It accepts all the applications of the health community. It also facilitates the medical and disability assistance. It has stamps for the food, and the state medical services program. It also funds the State of Michigan and the State Emergency Relief Program.

The Michigan Department of Human Services also facilitates children. The child support collection and the client welfare are also part of the Michigan Department of Human Service agency. It offers different programs to the families, and to children which only focuses on their support (Weissert, 2000). There is a wide range of service programs, which includes the protection and prevention of services for those children, who are abused and are neglected in the society. The care takers make sure that these children who are neglected, exploited, or abused, should get the care which they deserve.

The department of Human Services of Michigan has targeted the families which are needy, and children who are socially abused, and are not accepted in the society because they are misused, and are neglected as, well.
