Among the three different departments I have worked in at Protek Devices I liked the back end services for semiconductor products such as IC package most. This is the reason why I want to be associated with the production department that will improve the performance of my organization. The project, which I would choose is “Enhancement of Productivity with Strategic Analysis and Information Technology."

Protek Manufacturing and testing of products is carried out at various houses of assembly in various countries, mainly in Asia. Each of these assembly houses has its own strengths and weaknesses. Given one example, when one house of assembly has an excellent IC package development department, where as the same company delays other high volume production capacity and supply chain management. Typically, companies that are better R and D capabilities greater flexibility to introduce new ideas and developments, as well as the company will have more acceptability of new ideas that they would like to include in their R and D work, while the company focused on high production volumes in order to avoid change because it can affect their capacity. In this case, I would consider doing the whole R and D for new products / packages in the facility, which was an excellent package development group, the funds, and high performing R and D department. And as a product moves into high volume production, I would like to work on balancing my production company by moving most of the production in the assembly house, which is better high volume manufacturing capacity. So, I would like to divide the various houses of assembly, depending on package development and high volume production facilities.

Similarly, some of the best assembly house testing capabilities of modern and latest test equipment which can test complex devices much faster. ...
