Introduction

The organization used in this paper would be Cougar Automation and the services it offers. Cougar Automation is a company based in U.K. which provides Automation System Integrating services to many companies across the country. Cougar Automation focuses on providing quality customer services to customers and their vision is to make all customers rate the company 10/10. The company delivers services to customers by hiring some of the best engineers who are dedicated and hardworking toward their work and provide the best automation solution to the customers. The branch, used is Alberta branch and how quality and capacity management carried out in their branch. The manager of the company was consulted so that it can be visited and their capacity and Quality Management processes can be checked. The tutor verified this organization, and it was visited (Beach, 2000,, 7).

Preliminary observation

The preliminary observation, which was based, on the Cougar Automation has over sixty people, who are based in four branch offices of the company across the U.K. The company is local and delivers automation projects to some of the successful clients. Everything at the company localized with the local office, local people and local way of making decisions. Services provided in terms of production management systems, SCADA, PLCs and DCS with considerable expertise. Since this organization provides automated products to clients, therefore, it is necessary that the operation processes should be checked, and the delivery of products must fulfill the requirements of the technology. Expertise should make sure that the product, which is delivered, must be fully operated and properly checked (Copacino, William, 2001, p. 24) (Beach, 2000,, 7).

Operational issues

The operational issues involve the management of control systems as the company provides the software to other companies. In order to, make the manufacturing process of the company world class it is necessary that the system should be managed to control the floor operations. There is a need of reliability system, which can eliminate, the bottlenecks which are present. The operation management requires cutting down all the unproductive waste and data written as it wastes time and it is necessary that steady operation practices should be followed. The record should be data based rather than writing it. The plant management challenges should also be checked which distract the business of the company (Skinner, 1996, p. 3).

Quality Management

In recent decades, quality management has become a buzzword for quality measurement in organizations and management practice that seeks adeptness to achieve continuous improvement of services, competitive advantage and optimal task accomplishment in an organization guarantees satisfaction of customers and stakeholders.
