In line with the operations that it has been able to produce over the years, it becomes evident that the effective protocol and monitoring of its supply chain and the kind of logistics management and systems that have been installed in the organization for keeping a close call upon the development and establishment of the changes and the challenges that have been done altogether.
The strategy adopted, entitled 'Everyday Low Pricing' (EDLP), which is being adopted by Wal-Mart for the purpose of catering to its customers and clients walking in the store has only been possible due to the highly automated systems and the excessive quality management processes adopted at the same time (Hancke, 2011).
The level of quality management processes and the kind of technology-based interfaces that have been installed in the system is worth an inspiration. It becomes evident that regardless of whatever conditions and problems that may occur at a given time interval, Wal-Mart not only does have a hold on the future conditions and the situations that it might be experiencing, but also it has managed to established a close, well-knit, extremely coordinated network of employees working in Wal-Mart who are able to monitor their daily situations and work flow altogether.
