Gate gained reputation as "The King of Software" by developing and designing innovational software for the personal computer. One of the pioneers of home computing, Gates demonstrated himself to be as software applications guru and a technological visionary. According to industry analysts, he also proved that he was a shrewd marketing strategist as well as an aggressive corporate leader.
