Summary

The article got published in the Opinion page of New York Times on August 9th 2011, and it was written by Chris Spence, who is a tour guide in Paris. He talks about his stay at Costa Rica during his vacations where he is narrating all the incidence and memories about that place. On the other hand, he has done the critical analysis of the eco and social environment of Costa Rica (Spence, 2011).

He started of the article with his camping at Puerto Jimenez, in Costa Rica. They went for a hike there for an hour where they reached the ocean breaches of Claro River. They had no guide with them. The author narrates that during his two weeks stay at Costa Rica he experienced the diverse eco environment there. He got fascinated by the human as well as non human life there too.

The authors state that there are around 20,000 Americans living in this country. This pace gets regarded as the tourist paradise for vacation but, it is not easy to survive this place, this place has adventures which can only be experienced by the people who are in the mood of various types of adventures. The author has also stated that the living expenses are low, and the living standards of this place is very high.
