In this paper, we will discuss the rationality of views presented by Bardo, in which she has explained a changing life style of men. We will first discuss the point raised by Bardo and then will analyze the fact that whether the point presented by Bordo is justified or not.
It is important to know that with time, men have adopted various aspects that have been traditionally associated with women and I agree to the Bordo argument some what. The dressings of men have changed their overall appearance have totally changed now. Like their female counterparts, male also dress up and apply makeup on their faces. Modeling that was only associated with women only is now commonly practiced by men. They shape their bodies in a way that attracts other people. They also apply make up that men usually does not do. It is creating major changes in the society, as young people get influenced with such changes and try to adopt such changes, which may even be negative for them.
Bardo has explained this problem and stressed the change society is going through. However, the concepts and pictures she has shown in her magazine is not showing the actual picture. She has given her own view in her magazine, which may not be entirely true, but such changes in her writing explained that she wanted men to act in the same way as women do. They must show their body and do things that attract others.
