Introduction:

The United States of America is the federal constitution consisting 51 states. In history it went through a major uplift from the time it was incepted till today. Many issues regarding the minorities were highlighted and many legislatives and bills were passed. Tensions between American colonials and the British during the revolutionary period of the 1760s. The history of US is one that a lot of people can relate to as the events which took place in it affected the many and is till affecting today (Evans, 2010).

Discussion:

During the early 1700 till 1970's the political roadmap of US took many faces, where people came ruled and promoted their own set of rules and regulations at times opposing the minorities, otherwise supporting them. One of the four major events which took place during this time period of 17 decades, a lot of blood was wasted and many lost their lives. One Particular event which changed history was the Bill of Rights which was adopted in the year 1789, when George Washington was elected as the federalist from Virginia as the country's president. The Bill of Rights was the one in which amendments stated that the American Congress would not make any Law regarding the religion, color or creed of an individual. This gave the Black Americans a voice to speak and so they took out their processions (Evans, 2010).

Therefore, later in the 1800 specifically around the year 1854, when Franklin pierce, a democrat from New Hampshire was elected as President to Head the country, formed the Republican Party in order to abolish slavery, which meant the minorities were led to a freedom and given their individual space.
