Three large anxieties in today's economy are the government budget deficit, gross domestic product (GDP), and government spending. In this paper we investigated the article "Federal deficit below last year's record" (2005), written by Andrew Taylor to reconsiders the American government's figures and what they means for the nation's financial future.
