Introduction
Over the recent years UK has become a litigation nation, these words can be proven effective to a large extent by observing the present situation of law being practiced in UK. People are getting what they deserve; equal treatment by law although this idea was not new but existed from the age of Socrates. However, history of the mankind reveals that people are not being treated equally as mostly law is said to be the property of rich and elite class people and they never follow the laws made by them. This trend of injustice however is considered as the main factor that brings revolution. The difference in justice on behalf of the wealth and power has always been condemned from those who don't deserve equal treatment. Even in the modern societies like UK, people often found it difficult to receive equal treatment but just because the UK has minimized the level of such cases it has gained the title of litigation nation. People have faith in the judicial system which is the key for the country to be called as litigation nation.
On the other hand the Legal Services (Scotland) Act 2010 is there to ensure that people can easily and conveniently access the justice. The main purpose of this act is to ensure that every citizen of United Kingdom should have access to justice mainly “justice for all.” This study will attempt to focus on two different perspectives of UK law:
