Theme of death and Gothic

Tell-Tale Heart shows Poe at the height of his creative and artistic force, with its boldly original storyline, exquisitely rendered form, and psychological complexity (Poe 384).These are simple words from a 2200 first-person narrative of a killer of an awful but apparently motiveless crime. Madness of the hero is obvious from the outset, but in his retelling of history, the line between truth and hallucinations remains elusive, disarming the reader and make the event in the imagination of a madman seems a terrible reality.

Tell-Tale Heart is a perfect demonstration of the ban. Typical motifs of this type include dark, terrible figures, grotesque imagery, illusion and space. Stories of this kind Strip us of our understanding, and stir us, giving us an exciting sense of fear that we use.Although the truth is the theme of the story by Edgar Allan Poe, he uses guilt as a kind of fear.
