In June 2009, when my wife was all big and fat like a balloon, her feet started to swell up. We went to the hospital, and they told us her blood pressure was through the roof, and they were going to have to induce labor. My wife spent the next twenty four hours with a tube running into her conch and in intense pain, as the drugs the hospital gave her caused her to go into contractions. The next morning the doctor (an attractive woman) asked us if we just wanted to have a C-section. Finally, my wife said yes. They gave my wife the epidural, and she was out. My wife slept through the birth of our daughter.
From my own personal experience, a C-section birth truly is not dangerous at all. I could not see anything; they had me by my wife's head. When they pulled my daughter out, she was well and kind of cute. I want to rewind the tape here. My wife made me watch all these discovery health episodes about really disgusting births during the pregnancy. So, I was ready to see some stuff that would make me throw up. But none of that happened. The nurse said to my wife "Wake up, here's your baby." And my wife kissed our little girl on the forehead.
When they cleaned up and weighed her, the other nurse said, "I do not see any color on her at all." That is when I saw: My wife gave birth to a little white girl.
