Dear Mr.Johnson,

Hope you are fine. I am educated as a lawyer. I have never received any formal training and most of the knowledge I got was through self-study by books and the experience I earned though the ups and downs of my life (Peterson 16).

My failures inspired me to be an achiever. I faced myriad defeats throughout my career and they motivated me to move ahead. I lost my mother, my sister and my wife. I failed in business; was defeated number of times in politics; I was rejected for land officer position; I had nervous breakdown and always received gigantic pressure from society. My failure never took me down and they inspired me, they motivated me and they created a synergy and moved me towards this position, where I am now.

Can you please let me know the same from your side?

Thank you very much.

Sincerely,

Abraham Lincoln.
