Obesity in children is an epidemic in the United States and it is the basis for many of the chronic health problems. The long-term costs associated with obesity and its related consequences are devastating and a big factor in the increasingly heated debate over exactly how to go about fixing our nation's health care system (Paxton, 2005). And while President Obama's original plan, the health care overhaul is not likely to happen, first lady Michelle Obama launched a campaign “Let's Move” against obesity and health issues in United States. Let us move operates on the principle that every family wants the same for her child. So we'll find out how to make it easier for them to get it.
There are important educational components involved as well as simply getting children to foods that are healthier and cheaper than the fast food that many children grow as their primary sources of food access view. It will be interesting to see how we move initiatives to low income families' goal attempt, as they are the ones who will probably fight the change in an attempt to determine their lifestyle and diet (http://www.fitness.gov, 2012).

The campaign promoted healthy lifestyle and healthy food that are important for human body (http://www.fitness.gov, 2010). Almost a year ago, Michelle Obama launched a national discussion with children about children's health. The discussion was mainly about 'good food' and the role that food plays in 'healthy living'. This national debate led to the Let's Move campaign. Cost Over the last thirty years, the number of children in America are overweight has tripled. Today leads 1 in 3 children are overweight. Children born in 2000 or later are somewhere in their diabetes because of their obesity. Many others will as a result of their weight suffer from heart failure, high blood pressure, cancer and asthma. Recent studies have shown that this is approximately $ 147 billion annually will cost.
Let's Move is the political, comprehensive and community-oriented campaign based on the recent issue of obesity among children and teenagers in United States. The purpose of the campaign was to make awareness among children and families about healthy food and high obesity rate. It also elaborates the major factors that lead to high obesity and fatness among children.
