Introduction

The issue of privacy is a growing concern for individuals all over the world. Due to this age of technology and the increased use of internet has forced many countries to adopt laws which try to protect each citizens right to their privacy. However, augmented online practices of sharing private and business activities via websites make such laws redundant very fast. This paper will highlight some online technologies which serve to all but obliterate digital privacy of individuals in this age of Information Technology.

Answer 1) For the purpose of this assignment, three technologies which will be highlighted are Facebook.com, Google.com and the third is Facial recognition technology. All of these technologies allow any individual to find private information on anyone from around the globe. The first technology, Facebook.com which is a social networking website built around various applications integrated into the programming which offers various games, quizzes as well as information sharing. A lot of private information has to be submitted online which is then retained in Facebook's server. This information can then be accessed by anyone with a little technical skill, which means majority of the population as every other person has to tech savvy in this digitalized age.

The second technology to be discussed is Google.com, which is the largest search engine on the World Wide Web today. As its use is completely free of any charges, any person can find information on anything, place or person in a matter of seconds via Google.
