Going by the detailed evaluation and the analysis of the information which collected from a variety of sources and its financial statements, one can say that TESCO holds the position of being the only food retailer in the UK that has growth on an international platform. On the other hand, in regards to such domestic markets which pose more of a challenge, there are much more promising markets on an international level that have the potential to give better returns as well as retaining the potential for offering increasing prospects of growth. TESCO needs to tap these markets as well if it wishes to increase its' growth, its finance, the value of its shares and ultimately its profits. These markets commonly also have very limited competition according to the level on which TESCO operates.
In the worldwide scale of markets, the operating margin's key driver is scale. Upon evaluating the current status of TESCO, it can be concluded that it is one of those few organizations who have accepted this philosophy and made it an integral part of their strategy to cater international markets. It can be observed that TESCO works along a path of deliberate expansion, where it only enters a few countries however, it enters on a grand scale wherever it does.
