Introduction

Teaching and learning means moving across boundaries of different types (of expectations, boredom, and setting default.) Teaching, at least in a certain dimension is giving people the tricks and knowledge and experience they need to teach themselves. The design of learning environments involves many factors ranging from the purpose of such an environment, theory and style of delivery that will take place. During this reading you will discover some of the most significant factors in this task. A learning environment is where people can find resources to make sense of ideas and construct meaningful solutions to problems, think in the statement as an environment highlights the place or space where learning occurs. The elements of a learning environment are a student, a place or space where the student works, using tools and devices for collecting and interpreting information, interacting with others etc. The act of teaching requires establishing an environment conducive to learning established goals, with rules of behavior known and accepted by students according to their state of cognitive, social and moral. During the last years in the educational literature, there has appeared a concept, the "New Learning Environments", closely linked with revolution in communications and computing and the impact it has on the teaching.

Components and Conditions of Learning Environment

Based on the theory of meaningful learning, can be characterized a learning environment for their components and conditions. The environment Learning can be defined as a bounded environment in which they occur certain relations of school work. This is also true of the classroom, but the key distinction lies in the nature of labor relations. From terms of information and knowledge, a classroom is similar to a system closed, the information enters the environment with the teacher's income, and, as been widely documented, knowledge can only serve to solving school problems. In contrast, the learning environment must allow life, nature and enter the work environment, as materials study, reflection and intervention. This leads us to propose three conditions for the learning environment, are defined as delimited, structured and flexible (Anderman, 1998).

Delimited means the definition of learning content and complexity, the indicators and acceptability of development of the skills described above. Structured in the sense that the contents should be organized in maps conceptual (conceptual planning) to guide the planning activities cyclical processes that vary from one level of abstraction to another. Flexible means developing new approaches to curriculum management, they should include as central by the student acquisition of skills defined, at least in the levels of acceptability, and provide opportunities for the student can control, progressively, the rate of learning. The flexibility of structured environments and the role defined environments dynamic environment plays the manager, i.e. the teacher, is the key to the effectiveness in achieving desired competencies students (Covington, 1984). The participation of students in learning environments

This requires the active participation of students in the process as a necessary condition for interaction and interactivity. In fact both one, ...
