The League of Nations (SDN) is an intergovernmental association conceived after the Treaty of Versailles in 1919-1920, and the antecendent of the United Nations. In most of the September 28, 1934 to February 23, 1935, it was 58 members. League of the major objectives, as asserted in the Covenant, encompassing stopping conflict through collective security, disarmament and the town of worldwide arguments through discussion and arbitration.
